Collaborations

Other than my existing collaborations, I actively seek new opportunities to collaborate on quantum information theory. I am open to new collaborations in quantum metrology, and also quantum error correction.

I believe that my permutation-invariant codes are ready to implement on existing quantum devices. My codes can be controlled by global fields, which is advantageous in systems where addressability without cross-talk is difficult.

My codes are easy to control.  This can be done using geometric phase gates, which allow arbitrary control of symmetric states.  Geometric phase gates interact a bosonic mode and the code,  and a famous example routinely implemented in ion-traps is the Molmer-Sorensen gate.  Since the technology of implementing geometric phase gates is mature, we should be able to implement my codes now.

I’m eager to collaborate to bring my theoretical ideas closer to implementation in the lab.  Let us work together to make fault-tolerant quantum technologies a reality.
